DIY Houses for small pets (Rabbits and Rodents)

Hi readers, I have transferred this from my other blog "Guinea pigs r cute"
I thought I would do one for a DIY house.
This is one of the simplest DIY houses as it is just made out of a large shoebox or any other box you have of a largeish size. To make this house you will need to cut off any flaps and if it has a lid you will want to take the lid off. To cut the holes you can use a sharp pair of scissors or a stanley/craft knife. the size of the holes will depend on the size of your guinea pig but for a fully grown guinea pig it should be about 20cm high and 15cm wide but it can be just about any shape you want. Once you have cut the hole you can decorate it with non toxic pens. Normally the ones that are for young children will be non toxic.
You can put on any design you want with the pens.

I thought this love heart was cute and another great way to decorate it is to draw grass round the bottom.

I hope you like the DIY house,

Book Worm :)
