DIY glass jam jar tutorial using nail varnish or glass paint

Hi readers, I thought this would be a good first tutorial as it is simple and doesn't take to long.

What do you need?
Nail Varnish. Any type will do but good quality will work best. I got some of mine in Poundland and Tesco.
Glass Paint. You can use this as well as the Nail Varnish or instead for a nice shiny finish.
A old Jam Jar or Honey Jar(or jelly jar if you're in the USA).

A clean jar.
Step 1:
Clean the jar thoroughly and soak the label of in warm water for a while to get the label off or even better find a jar that doesn't have a label!

Step 2:
Find a template if you want to have a neat pattern or start free handing a design.

Step 3:
I used a nail art pen to write on mine.
I put Guinea pig treats on my jar (no guessing who it was for!)
Wait for each area to dry before turning it as you won't want it to smudge!

Step 4:
Put Sweets, hair slides, hair bands etc in it or give it to someone else as a gift. Just don't drop it like I did!

I hope you will try doing this,

Book Worm :)
